Frequently Asked Questions

How do I add my first vehicle?

Tap the "+" button in the Vehicles tab to add a new vehicle. You'll need to provide basic information like brand, model, registration number, and vehicle type (ICE, Hybrid, or EV).

Can I track multiple vehicles?

Yes! MyPlugPump supports unlimited vehicles. You can manage your entire fleet from the Fleet tab, where you'll see summaries and comparisons across all your vehicles.

How do I record a fuel fill or charging session?

Navigate to your vehicle's dashboard and tap "Add Entry". Select whether it's a fuel fill or charging session, then enter the details. The app will automatically calculate efficiency metrics.

What efficiency metrics are calculated?

For ICE vehicles: L/100km, km/L, MPG (US/UK), and cost per 100km. For EVs: kWh/100km, km/kWh, mi/kWh, cost per 100km, average power, and charging speed.

Can I export my data?

Yes! Go to the Fleet tab and tap "Export". You can export vehicles, fuel fills, EV charges, and expenses as CSV files. All data includes calculated metrics for easy analysis.

Is my data stored in the cloud?

No. All your data is stored locally on your device. We don't sync to the cloud, collect analytics, or share your data with anyone.

How do I track expenses in different currencies?

When adding an expense, select the currency from the dropdown. The app will normalize expenses to your base currency for reporting. You can set exchange rates in Settings.

What is COE tracking for Singapore users?

COE (Certificate of Entitlement) tracking helps Singapore users monitor their vehicle's COE validity period. The app will notify you 90, 30, and 7 days before expiry.

Can I edit or delete entries?

Yes, you can edit any entry by tapping on it. Historical data integrity is preserved - edits create correction entries while maintaining the original record.

Does the app work offline?

Yes! MyPlugPump works completely offline. All features are available without an internet connection since all data is stored locally on your device.
